Energy Load Profile and Monitoring

General Description:
As part of the service delivery under OPERON’s FM contract GENEX provided a comprehensive evaluation on the energy consumption and associated costs to the property portfolio.  From This information GENEX directly identified that a number of the properties were incorrectly paying 17.5% VAT and full Climate Change Levy.

GENEX were therefore tasked with providing supporting evidence in the form of on site energy load profiling data to substantiate a clam to the
Inland Revenue. This work involved the installation,
management and monitoring of over 100 digital
metering points.

As a result of this project, and the meticulous activities undertaken by GENEX potential savings and overpayments in VAT and CCL of up to £150,000 were identified.
